This document will attempt to capture the players and very brief game day descriptions of the first 50 years of Falmurth game by game. Primary sources are the game records from each year. Secondary sources used were photos and on occasion inference from the orders of battle where there was high confidence in the identity of the player at that time. Comments will also be made about the game / tables and the outcomes. To hear the story of Falmurth from the perspective of the game world itself see the Histories of Falmurth or similar articles.

The first 3 Falmurth games were held before the start of the Falmurth campaign. Not all the boards were Falmurth based, players did not have permanent commands and various scenarios were used. The tables were linked by magical Gates that allowed some degree of movement between them. However, for each game a side on each table was designated as Evil vs the other side as Good. And for each of the first 3 Falmurth games an overall winning side was determined.

The Falmurth campaign started with Falmurth IV in 1977 which was held at the Ral Partha factory in Cincinnati. From this year forward most of the players had permanent roles (though they sometimes switched roles over time), their own persistent player character and their own country. Though there have been many changes to the system of the tactical rules, campaign structure and available troops / Fantasy creatures the basic features of the Falmurth games have been in place since the Falmurth game in 1977.

From 1977 until 1989 (with a couple years off) a weighted victory point system was used to determine an overall GameDay winner between Columbus (Alliance) and Cincinnati (Black Coalition). This construct ended in 1990 with later GameDays focusing on the results of each individual board whether as a campaign action or more of an adventure only game. Since the beginning the intent has been to provide a framework to allow a day of fun and friendly gaming with a modicum of longer term meaning.

Finally a bit of a disclaimer must be added. These descriptions have been assembled from my records and pictures. Rarely have I relied on my memory for anything except some of the more humorous events. Many of the early years have minimal information and thus omissions are inevitable. I in no way mean to slight anyone and have done my best to include as many people as possible.
