The 1982 Falmurth game day was held back in Cincinnati at the Ral Partha factory during October. A side note was the set up time was 9 a.m. and adjudication would be at 8 p.m. if the minimum 8 turns had not been achieved  (the target stop time was 7 p.m.). Extensive strategic options were used and after action reports provided to determine promotions for player characters.

.

There were 5 battles on 4 boards with one board hosting two side by side battles split by terrain. Overall Evil took the day 58 to 42 winning 3 moderate victories (two in Forthing, one at Vraltor Heights) while Good managed one marginal (North Golas) and one decisive (North Persai)

The commander list for 1982 included:

Guy Flora (Lanaster),

Ed Stang (Avrenth),

Dave Packer (Forsula Loyalists),

Rich Smethurst (Xindurbil),

probably Terry Hauk (Persai),

Greg Hopper (Hater),

Jim Rush (Dalvar),

John Kellner (Khand),

Paul Price (Rhada),

Tom Meir (the Black Prince),

Neil Reinhart (Scandia),

probably Ron Haas (Khaldir),

Russ Cottington (Vraltor/Devendor),

Larry Connor (Golas),

Jeff Bundy (Vyka),

Howard Anderson (Meneldor),

Chuck Crain (Sutherkrein),

John Winkler (Satraps / Savages probably),

Kevin Barrer (Shirland),

Alan Carson (probably Sindar),

Ron Woodrum (Syrtax).

I don’t have an attendance list but most of the players were confirmed in pictures.

The probables were based on countries being played.
