The 10th Falmurth games were held in Indianapolis at a Holiday Inn on the south side of Indy. The day started at 9:30 a.m. (game moves at 10:30) and went until 7:30 p.m. (with only 1 of the 4 games being adjudicated then, the others ending earlier).
Strategic play with multiple options by both sides developed the 4 battles. After action reports again noted troop losses and promotions (and demotions) for the player characters. Here are the battleboard results:

Battle I was in Devendor (Vraltor) and the Good forces from Dalvar, Sindar (including Tarlin) and Avrenth gained a decisive victory over the Black Prince, Orcs and Jyllaran. As a result Castle Nivapf in Syrtax was not relieved and fell to the Good side. This was a location that would see many battles over the years.
Battle II was in Oligrar (Vyka) with Golas, Shirland and Vyka (Good) getting a moderate victory over the Evil side of Xindurbil, Satraps, Savages and Malkosha. The Evil side was mostly pushed out of Bastmor.
Battle III in Regalio had the Evil side of Khand and Fu Mien taking a decisive win over Regalio, Vyka and Lanaster of the Good guys. Regal city remained besieged with only a year left before falling.
Battle IV in Hater saw the Evil side of Hater, Persai and Sutherkrein get a moderate win over the Good guys from Meneldor, Khaldir and Rhada. (Though the Good guys lost this one they did wipe out 2 full units of the vaunted Saladim Guard). Hater gained in Regalio.
Overall for the day the Good guys wins were on larger tables so they took the game day win with a 55 to 45 point total.

As part of the 10th Anniversary celebration various swag / prizes were distributed (like the I’m a Falmurth Fan buttons ).
Chuck Crain presented me with one of the finest recognition gifts I have ever seen – a unit of 10 Ral Partha Elven Chariots professionally painted. I always remember Chuck, Ral Partha and the great gang of players of the early Falmurth days every time I see the chariots.
